About the Photographer

After working in the film and television industry for many years, I needed to branch out into something that sparked my joy and love of animals. My new career path included becoming assistant to one of my favorite equine photographers, Gail Bates. Learning the art of marketing for the professional horse industry. Eventually working in collaboration to create marketing videos for some of the best on the West Coast. 

I also worked closely with the Sacramento SPCA for years as their annual Santa Paws photographer. Also photographing the Mayor with her pet for their magazine.

One of my favorite clients is Dianne Olds Rossi, World of Dancing Horses. Growing up in Southern California, I was an admirer of hers early on. So when I got the opportunity to work with her, it became a wonderful partnership to market her training, horses and shows. 

Always perfecting, I spent years as Official Photographer for several local venues: Sacramento Horseman's Association, Starr Vaughn Equestrian Center and Pacific Equestrian Center; photographing Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Western/Reining.

I now focus on offering boutique photography services geared towards the client looking for those special memories only someone invested in the love of family and their furry kids can capture.

Due to injury, I am no longer available as Official Photographer. (Ask me about shooting for individual riders on grounds). I offer private sessions for pets on location, and horses at your barn or location.
